Indoor Freediver

We invite you to a freediving course - Indoor Freediver
This two-day pool certified course is designated for all interested persons who want to get to know more closely the freediving world, natural beauties under the water level and last but not least themselves as well, and all this with minimum equipment.

We will show each other how to dive safely, how to breathe properly, how to relax and how to prepare for diving. We will learn proper movement technique, technique of turnaround and plunging ... and we will explain each other how our body works in the water environment, how it is even possible that we are able to dive into one-hundred meter depth ...

This pool course is finished by Apnea Academy Indoor freediver certification after the successful completion and at the same time it is also the first part of the Apnea Academy First/Second Level course. Graduates of the Indoor Freediver can continue with a weekend course on open water in the Czech Republic under the name Outdoor Freediver or with a five-day course by the sea and after its successful completion they can obtain internationally valid certification of Apnea Academy First or Second Level.

We recommend the Indoor Freediver course also to instrument divers, both to sports and to technical divers. Benefit of this course is better understanding of the apnea issue and understanding their own body, which leads also to increased confidence and calming down of the diver thanks to performance achieved during the course. The result is lower air consumption, longer immersions in better well-being and greater success when dealing with crisis situations!

Recommended equipment:
Low-volume mask - Micromaska, Sphera, Falco
Snorkel - Salvimar, Omer Zoom, ...
Long fins - Omer Milenium, Omer Stingray, Skorpio Flame ...
Neoprene suit – preferably designated for freediving made of 3 to 5 mm material
Weight belt - preferably rubber Salvimar or Omer

In case you need some help with choosing equipment, try the right size of shoes, hardness of fins, mask ..., we are at your disposal in our Apnea Academy centre in Prague 7. You can also rent all equipment for the course. To determine correct size of a suit, write us your height and weight and for correct size of fins, write us your foot size.
