Maldives - Gan - Male

Come with us to an unforgettable journey into an exotic and beautiful diving diving paradise, full of life and color! During this trip we will be sailing along uninhabited romantic isles with white sand beaches and diving at coral reef atols overflowing with rich marine life – aside from turtles, rays, mantas and various shark species (grey, reef, tiger, hammerhead, whale sharks…) you will see hundreds of fish and coral species in many shapes and colors, and all that on a single breath!

This time we will be sailing from Gan, deep south of the Maledivian archipelago, to Male. We will visit the Fuvahmulah isle, where we will have the chance to dive with tiger sharks! We will also be diving at the Huvadhoo atol, the biggest atol not only on Maledives, but in the whole world! It has a lenght of 79 km (from north to south) and its are covers 2900 km2. There are over 230 isles. But the most important is that we have a 100% chance of diving with at least one whale shark!!! Night diving with this beautiful creature is an experience of a lifetime! Additionaly, on our way to Male we will pick the most amazing sites for mantas and various sharks. In our opinion, this cruise contains the best sites you could see on Maldives!

The Felicity ship has been operating since 2021 and it belongs to the upper middle class ****+.  It is 40 meters long and 10 meters wide, the engines‘ capacity is 720HP. Each suite has it’s own bathroom and air conditioning. We have 3 meals a day, all of them a mix of local and European cousine. Coffee, tea and one bottle o fater a day are free of charge. At the bar you can also get various non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages including wine, beer and coctails. A part of the setup is a boat Donghi, which is where we will store our gear and which takes us out for the dives.

Program:
1. day - Thursday: departure from Prague - 21.2.2023
2. day - Wednesday: arrival to Maldives and transfer to the Gan isle. 1st dive at Hithadhoo beyre - local manta point
3. - 9. day – diving at the best sites from Gan to Male. One of the absolute highlights of this trip is night diving with whale sharks and mantas. On the isle of Fuvahmulah the bravest ones can enter the Tiger Zoo. Diving with the Tiger shark will undoubtedly be a breathtaking experience! Another great night dive awaits us at the Alimatha Jetty, where we will enjoy the company of many nurse sharks. We will also visit many manta points, shark hot spots, and at the end we will dive at a favorite Fish Factory, where many rays, moray eels, reef fish and guitar shark meet. Simply put, we have a lot to look forward too!!! 
10. day - Friday: at 9am we leave the ship and head to the airport
11. day - Saturday: arrival to Prague - 4.3.2023

The price includes:

- travel and diving insurance
- non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (1 water bottle / day is included)
- fee for a barbeque island entry: 5-7 USD
- local fees and taxes: 8 USD / person / day
- express reservation of the upper suits 1000Kč/suit or additional charges for suits of higher standards
